Yea the size of the opening was my biggest problem, I thought about enclosing the back of the scoop so I could drill into it but I could barely fit a 1/2" pipe fitting inside the scoops and the fit was so tight I wouldn't of been able to fit a lockring inside anyway.Since then I've been thinking about trying to heat up the back of the scoops then forcing pipe through it to mold a round opening on the back.Maybe submerging the scoops face in a bowl of ice water so it can't warp, then sitting it in the oven for slightly longer periods of time until you can start bending the back.

No I still haven't messed with my pegs, I wear size 14's and they barely even reach the center of my boots sole.I'm going to wait until its hot enough that I'm not joy riding much to throw them on, that way if I don't like them they will still be on and looking pretty during Motogp season.

I may get mine on tonight or tomorrow if they go on easy enough.

I think Bleedinblue's idea will work well, but something needs to be devised for the scoops.

You could bulk up the inside end of the fake intake and use a rubber sleeve or fernco. Personally I would fabricate something with fiberglass or epoxy resin as a connector between the two. :thumbup: Goodluck

Couldn't find the old post but I remember someone cutting a hole in the front of the air box to get some air in from above the radiator. Could a intake of some kind be placed here to get the same effect ignore the bugs. I live in farmland
