After my first attempt at putting on wheel stripes ended in a down syndromian result, I decided to go back to the drawing board. When I mentioned my ineptitude to my brother in law, he told me about a trick our other brother in law showed him in putting on other types of decals. With nothing to lose, I decided to give it a try. Below is the method I got from him.

It turned out better than I could have hoped. Looks perfect, and if you don't want to wait for it to completely dry overnight, you can use a heat gun or blow dryer to dry them out.

Edit: And I do realize I had the overlap direction backwards in my video. I did put them on in the correct direction. Just a brain fart.
