I just looked again, I think the camera is doing some special effects because that is crazy small looking LMAO...But ya, it's an XL. Look at it on the picture of my bike in my sig, it's an XL I swear...

Okay, yeah, it must be a fish eye issue with the way your camera is working at that zoom level.

LOL, looking at the sig it looks more normal.

Strange.

I would post a pick of mine but I left it at my friends house last week and I have to go back there Friday and pick it up.

Believe it or not I really like my Bilt Fusion. Fits well, ventilated well, all white for summer, smoked visor and clear, durable, and not too heavy. Would like a high end one day. Definitely wanna get properly fitted as I have a hard time finding a good/comfortable fit.

I'm actually considering getting a bilt for another helmet (I have a slight addiction and own 4) anyways, I'm not 100% familiar with bilt, but are they pretty decent? I wanna get a modular so I don't have to wear my Shoei everyday and scratch it up.

Most here knock Bilt gear, but like I said I think it's a nice helmet. I have Bilt race boots and like them as well. Would I like something higher end? I'm sure, but I still like both regardless. Both had really good reviews. I am big on following reviews.

I've seen a lot of positive reviews about Bilt, and negative as well. Can't complain about their prices though, they offer a full leather riding suit for $300! Great price point for someone who's just starting out.

You seriously said a mouthful there! I've had leather boots on my previous bikes, I wanted "street boots" and bought Bilt. That buy was a year ago and they're still awesome.

My riding pants are Bilt. I broke the zipper tab off the bottom of the right leg last fall, but I'm still wearing those suckers. I've got a tab on the left, on the right I have work the body of the zipper down. Perforated mesh pants with hip armor and CE knee armor cost me $79 bucks on sale.

As good as Alpinestars? No. 1/3 the cost to be protected in a down? Yes.

There's some controversy concerning Bilt leather racing suits. I've read reviews about the stitching not holding up. I can't personally speak to that.

You don't have to spend a ton to be safe. If you like what you've bought, and it meets safety requirements, and you saved a butt-load of cash?

Thanks for adding some credibility to my comment. I wasn't sure if anyone on here really rocked any Bilt gear. I do kind of wish now that I had gotten the boots that 06330i was looking at. Mine are standard height race type boots. Better protection I'm sure, but for the riding I do those would have worked and probably been a little more comfortable. I do really like the helmet. It fits snug but not too tight and the padding touches all the way around my head with no gaps so that I'm not bouncing around if I go down. It's pretty quiet too. My viper seems quiet when I have it on.
