i layed my bike down... the cheapest i could find to fix it was from cheapcycleparts.com.
they were awesome. great attitude and shipping was quick. the tank brand new was 500 or 550... good prices i think

Thats correct... i came across mrcycles webstore.. by far the best place to get yamaha factory parts. in fact i was about to put this up on the forum.. good find

I had good luck with bikebandit.com, as well. My old KLR650 required parts quite often, and bikebandit was nice to deal with.

I found best prices at stadiumyamaha.com, although they had the best prices I went through a dealer here in San Diego who match their price.

I just ordered my Main Switch Lock from PowersportsPlus.com. Got a fast response letting me know they got my order and the price was the best i could find across everything i checked.
If they suck on getting me the right part or it takes way too long, i'll let you know!

You have to be careful, some sites are cheaper on one item and not another. Definitely shop around for EVERY item.

+1, This was the cheapest site I found for Brake pedal, Flasher assembly and air element (filter), even with shipping charges.

You'll have to give them a couple weeks. Right now they aren't accepting new orders because of some issue between Yamaha, and them adding some partners to their name.

I went through every link on this thread with the same list of 25 parts needed to fix my bike. Stadium Yamaha had the best price of all of them; often beating them by 50 or more dollars.

Part Shark was a close second, but they don't allow you to ship to a different address from your billing address without using Paypal. I refuse to use Paypal since they changed their terms and conditions years ago.
