New guy - bike questions...

Hey all. Brand new to Yamaha here, going to look at a 2009 FZ6R today with 1000 miles on the clock. Seller is asking $3500. To me, it looks like a decent deal, but I don't know a whole lot about the bike other than I like it. I'm not new to riding, and this will basically be a fun weekend bike and a commuter back and forth to work. Are there any issues I should be aware of for this year? Any questions I should ask the seller specifically? I appreciate any help you can give.

Should be like new with only 1000k. Make sure it hasn't been badly dropped or crashed. Tires are getting old and the stock tires were not the best. Check any service records. There really shouldn't be much wrong with a bike with this mileage. Change all the fluids, new tires, check and lube chain and ride! Offer him $3000. good luck.
