Neutral Indicator Light and Related Problems

So about 30 mins ago, i tried to start my bike and the neutral indicator didnt turn on. I shifted gears trying to find it but still no light. Turns out the bike thinks its in gear. Even if i know im in neutral, i need my kick up and my clutch in...

Any ideas what the problem is?

I noticed there is a neutral switch indicator in the workshop manual.
If it never comes on, it'll isolate the starter solenoid circuit.
Hopefully its just a loose connector somewhere, I saw the neutral switch sensor starts inboard from the right footpeg.

That would make sense. I was pulling my vent hoses down from my tank before i started my bike last night since i checked my air filter recently. Ill have a look in an hour before i have to go to school

I honestly dont know what i am looking for. Is it under the tank or next to the peg?
