Was out testing my 13.00 rear looking Go Pro mount that attaches to the grab bar and forgot it was there so as I dismounted I snapped the thing in half. Oh well, things happen.

Ya, Just totally spaced it was there and kicked it while I dismounted. Besides my clumsiness I think it's a good mount so I will probably order another one because I have some rides coming up that I would like to have one on my helmet or tank facing forward & one facing rearward. I plan on riding some popular roads this year & some group rides. I plan on being a You Tube Monster this season.

I usually take a lanyard or something and attach it to my GoPro whenever I can. I've had a few of the plastic mounts break, thankfully not bad enough to send my GoPro flying.... also the suction cup works great most of the time, but if it decides to let go, it's gone!

If you do attach a safety, run it through the actual GoPro case (I loop through the holes in the door), not around the black plastic mount pieces.

I actually had my suction cup and case fall on a 3 hr trip one way. After that its hard to trust the suction cup
