The quality of the video is more than acceptable. Sure, it's not HD, but it's good enough. For someone like myself, who wants to run a cam when they ride to capture the bad stuff for the insurance company, or simply wants to show off a local road - more than good enough.

What cam did you buy and how much did it cost, if you don't mind my asking?

It's the Midland XTC-205. I got it from Wal-Mart for under $100. You will need a micro SD card. I have a 4 gig in there and it will record for just over 50 minutes of HD. It has a horrible mic that picks up excessive wind once your over 10-15mph. So for just getting some footage it will do the job if you don't want to shell out alot of $.
