Mirrors, mirrors, mirrors

Hey folks. So...the highly compatible ZX mirrors are a huge improvement over the stock bunny ears - I think we can all agree on that one. But over time they're starting to bug me: they looks miles better, but I wouldn't go as far to say the look "good".

First question (which I'm guessing I already know the answer to) is if you've discovered any mirrors which are also compatible. Manufacturer mirrors, not after market stuff.

Second question is that once the base/stems are connected - shouldn't it be possible to switch out the actual mirrors? Isn't the connection at the end of the ZX stems fairly universal?

Update: The Kawi 636 mirrors look compatible right off the bat wouldn't you say?

The ZX mirrors are a fixed base, there is nothing to remove on it unless you buy an aftermarket mirror.

The 06+ GSXR mirrors fit.

here is what they look like, i saw too much of my hands though. I have risers on my bike so you may or may not get the same results.

iI just bought a 2013 FZ6R and i am looking for new mirrors. So are 06-14 GSXR mirrors the same? Do they fit without any moding?

Pretty much, the ideal ones to get are the 08+ because they are more robust, and you should aim for OEM. The knockoff's can be very hit or miss.
