Ok so as result of riding in Hurricane sandy for 5.5 hours down in Florida I believe I now have a kinked chain. I didn't get to clean and lube the chain till three weeks after riding in the storm (it sat the whole time except for loading and unloading from the truck).
When I cleaned the chain it would flex fine when I put a little pressure on it.
But if I just spun the wheel around the chain wouldn't fully go back to it natural form.
Bike and chain has 10,000 miles.
Any one think I can reclean and lube it and get it back to working normally (once winter is over)?
I should add that it looks like the two links were positioned at the top and bottom of the rear sprocket when it was sitting...
