Rather then dig and dig through who know show many for sale threads, most of which are probally expired, I figured I'd start my own thread mention I was looking for things.

I'm not made of money, but wanted to see what everyone was selling, or maybe even giving away

Looking slowly get rid of the stock look of my FZ6R. I was looking at those Proton Flush Blinkers, Fender Eliminators and Integrated brake lights.

Out of all that, I really only want to Blinkers the most, the others are just ideas.

I also need a tank pad, anyone know a cheap place? I only am looking for plain white.

No-Cut Sliders are on the list, a white cowel would be awesome (but way to much money) HIDS.... maybe mirrors (but thats not high on my list) a new sheild one day would be nice...plus there are probally other things for the bike that I just don't know about...so feel free to mention what you have!

Check ebay for a tank pad. Got mine for 1$ HAHA, Check out the Universal Flush Mounts that can be found on Motorcycle-Superstore and are only 25$, its what I have on my bike.

T-Rex sliders are around 70$ and I here nothing but good things. HID's, you can find some cheap Ebay kits for 40$ but I'd suggest a better kit so you don't have to pull your bike apart to replace shit all the time, a good 60$ kit will last you as long as the bike.

Mirrors are a definite, check out the trojan mirrors, they are on Ebay for 40$ and under even with intergrated signal lights.

I don't have anything to sell but thats just my opinions haha and a color matched back seat would be a nice alternative to a seat cowl, an upholstery shop would probably charge around 30$ to change the black leather to white leather.

Cycle Gear is right by the airport. Take Belvedere west, turn south on Military... it will be right on your left in the plaza. Right before Pep Boys. I got my tank pad there and they have all sort of goodies for a respectable price. Me and my wife got all our riding gears there.

Proton Flush Mounts are one of the most expensive turn signals imo. It's always a competition of Proton vs Watsens, R6 turn signals will fit on FZ6-R. I got cheap $20 eBay ones that have last me for a year now, half on the FZ6-R the other half on my R6. Tank pad you can pick up at cycle gear or dealerships cheap for around $20 as well, or you can look online. Majority of them are "universal". Sliders should have been your first mod, always carry protection! T-Rex Racing or Motivation are good.

HiD's go with Kryptonbulbs over DDM tuning, his customer service is outstanding and that's what makes a great company. If I recall some people put some Kawasaki mirrors on the FZ6-R bike, others put R6s mirrors by drilling a hole.

Yep! :thumbup: I do all my maintenance myself.

No slip ons. People go with the R6 headers method, and mount a slip on.

Don't buy that Wanker thing... There is few options exhaust option, all depend how much you're ready to spend. Two Brothers has the best option but $$$! R6 exhaust is the common poor rider update, then you put the slip on of your choice. There's a little bit of work involve in this project... look at my thread "R6 exhaust Marthy edition"

Some ofus mod there stock exhaust too... dig around you will find what you need. I have a 24" windscreen that I put few miles on, I prefer my 26" with handguard. It's picking up dust in my garage... it's homemade, and look homemade. But work great if you're thinking doing long ride.

Seems like a great idea...i mean, someone like me noticing a 10Hp dip is probally slim to none....

However, I am overly novice and definitly could NOT make that rig, I'd probally messing up buying parts when you so very nicely told me which ones to get...lol

I did lost 2 hp between 9000 and 11500 rpm, but pickup a bit hp from 4000 to9000. Was just a trade off... I need to go back on the dino now that I have a PC5 to get new numbers... I think it's all good now. Just been so busy at work lately (Cavallino at PBIR)

Now i was under the impression that any kind of computer wasn't really needed when you just add a slip on...does ur rip need one due to personal preference or actaul requirement

I saw on your thread you considered making em for others...you ever get anywhere with that?

Didn't have any body ask for one. I've been looking at few options... I'm quite busy right now but by next week things should get back to normal. I might mod my stock exhaust, It would be the cheapest way to do it. On what kind of budget are you? Exhaust only? Blockoff plates? Power Commander? You can away with the exhaust only and just cap off 1 hose so it doesn't pop like crazy. But the block off plates are in the $40.00 range if I remember.

I had few close call with the quitness of the stock exhaust, now it's just loud enough not to be too anoying. And people don't really stand there next to you just chatting on the phone,they get out of there! Kind of nice. If they don't get the message I usually downshift 1 gear... then they get it! :wav:

Mine sound sexier...lol I might order the parts that I need to do the Supertrapp exhaust with the stock headers this week. I will try to do it next weekend if possible.

I'm planning to go on the dino sometime this week to check where I'm at HPwise. My butt dino is pretty happy right now,so let see the real number. I hammered it yesterday in first gear at 7K and the front wheel clear the ground for few foot. (-8 on the rear sprocket...) The bike is so much more fun to drive. I will keep you posted...

I miss this one... With this set up you are able to adjust the back pressure, or noise level. There is a stack of 12 discs that you can play with. When I went on the dino I had 8 discs and it was ok. You could ran the bike this way without any problem. I choose to install a Power Commender to get the extra ponies...So now I run all 12 discs + add some washers to space it out some more.

I ordered the parts that I need to mod my stock exhaust. I didn't want to spend the big $ for fast shipping so It will be here next week.
