Everyone, I need some advice. I have a brand new ICON Alliance Lucky Lid helmet and another HJC helmet in Green/Silver/Black that matched the Monster Ninja that I used to own. How can I sell a helmet that is used? They were barely worn because I have 2 others, but I just don't know if anyone would ever want them, and if no one does then what?

People are always looking to save a few bucks on helmets. Take pics and post them up in the classifieds here, and post them on craigslist. Alter your price as needed until they sell. They will eventually sell.

as long as you make it a great deal it should sell. look up current retail and make it worth it to potential buyers

I wouldn't buy a used helmet. It's just my opinion, but some things simply can't be sold used. If someone is looking for protection for the all-important noggin, they don't want used.

They've already realized the basics of self-preservation and a used helmet, taking the word of the owner that it's never been dropped, just won't cut it.

What to do with the old helmets? I keep mine as spares. Heck, my ex had four, when we tried to back together. She liked to buy a new graphic. My first Shoei was a Christmas present and came from her collection.

Find a new rider without a helmet and offer it up. Just give it away. I wouldn't pay money for a used helmet, but maybe as new rider, I'd wear one given.
