FZ6R To FZ6 SEAT EXCHANGE. POSSIBLE ?

Hi;
I am looking for a one piece seat for my 2013 FZ6R. Stock on my bike is a 2 section seat. Will a one piece seat from a 2006 FZ6 fit my FZ6R? I would need it to lock down just as my stock seats do. I am hoping a one piece seat will let me ride further back on the seat. Also maybe more comfortable? Any thoughts or ideals let me know.

Take a look at Corbin, I think they make a custom one piece seat. Still has the hump for a pillion so I'm not sure how far back you'd be able to get.

I realize Corbin makes a one piece seat that fits the FZ6R. It's also $473.00 plus shipping. If the one piece seat from a FZ6 will fit I can purchase a used OEM for $50.00 shipped. I need to hear from someone who has tried this with the seat in hand. It's interesting that Corbin has two seat mountings for the FZ6. One for 2004-2006 and another for 2007-2009. The one piece Corbin for FZ6R fits all years.
