what are you guys paying for insurance for the Fz6R if you dont mind sharing .

how much for comp / collision, or just comp, medical, etc ??


i was quoted $100 bare minimum (state req).
and $600, state min & 10,000 medical.
and $1000, state min, 10,000 medical, and comp(fire/theft).
and $1400 full coverage, comp/collision, state min, and medical 10,000.

im 40 yrs old and good , clean driving history.
this would be for a 2013 FZ6R.

thru progressive.

is there any other good insurance companies out there in south florida area for these bikes ?

That seems steep! I am 35 and just had a quote of around $580 if I was to move to the melbourne area.

Try increasing the deductable.

Wow, that does seem steep. I'm in PA with progressive insurance and I pay $38/month for full coverage. I know in Florida especially populated areas (in or near cities) has a high theft ratio for bikes which is why insurance is so high.

Miami is soo expensive to live now, I've been here my entire life, and its overcrowded, and ppl do insurance scams probably all the time, thats why its soo high here.
