These folks sell controllers you may be able to use with creative wiring if you want to go that route. I am not sure if they would work with any LED light set, but if what you have is close enough to what they sell, it may work.

Upon further review, while possible, the circuit presented above may not be practical. While I have not tried to figure all of the component values, I believe that the relay coil resistance which is likely to be found in actual practice will be too low. A low coil resistance will require a large capacitance and put a larger load on the turn signal supply. The flash rate of the turn signals is dependant on the load, so the added circuitry should be designed so as to not impact it. But, all is not lost, it should be possible to accomplish the goal by adding a transistor to switch the relay (which can now be a 12 Volt relay, which should be easier to find than a 6 Volt.) Something like the attached ought to do it.
