Couple of questions about my fz6r

Hello everyone. Just got my new 2010 6r and have a couple of questions for you guys. I rode it for the first time yesterday and the front brakes are grinding. It sound like metal on metal to me. Is this just because the bike is new and they need to wear in a bit? I was gonna call the dealer tomorrow and ask them just wanted some feedback from you guys. Also the temperature down the road was 190 but in town got up over 210. Is this normal for a bike. Thank for any input.

front brakes grinding is not normal, have it checked. temp going that high is normal, make sure you hear the fan kicking in to cool it down

I believe the fan normally takes on around 210 and the thermostat opens at 170 as far as the brakes they should not be grinding check your rotors to make sure they look smooth and new if not definitely get it checked out

The front brake should be dragging, but not grinding. Big difference. If it's just a metal on metal sliding sound, that's needed. If you didn't have that, you'd pull the brake lever and have no brakes.
