What I hate more is bundling up in the morning, but not wearing half of it home because it's too warm in the afternoon. :rant:

jockey has stretch 1-piece mens thermals for $30 in their online catalog in black and oatmeal... they look really warm. i already have Hanes separate thermals, but these look so much warmer that I might get one...

Cold!!! I am in Hilton Head, SC for the weekend. I am exposing a car for a Concours d'elegance on Sunday. So I drove from Florida with the F-150, the 28 ft Featherlite trailer, the vintage car, the fz6r and my sexy wife. So let me tell you how my Saturday went... first it started this morning with a 10K race (bearfootsport run over the bridge). It was F&^% 43F this morning in sneekers and shorts. It took me about 2 miles to warm up and feel my toes. Well the painful race last 52:04 (not too bad for a first one) After my wife got done we went back to our room to warm up.
Took the bike for a ride around town. Going over 50 mph without the proper gears wasn't great. Let say the with some proper pans everything would have been good.

I love cooler weather, but when its in the 50's, and I am on the bike for a 55 mile trek (one way) to and from work, it gets cold quick, especially driving between 60 and 70 the whole way. Friday morning it was in the 30's....I don't think I need to go into how cold that was.

Today was perfect fall riding in San Diego. Started in the morning at home in the mid 50's. By the time I got up into the mountains (usually 20º cooler than at home this time of year) it had warmed up there to about 55º. Clear skies, crisp but not cold weather, it was great. I wish I'd brought a camera. All the trees are changing color. If it stays dry and my wife and I head up there tomorrow I'll try to remember to bring a camera.
