Well, I know the chips on the VW's are highly encrypted and have to be cracked in order to do any sort of tuning. So basically on my car it has to be removed, flashed, then it can be done through the ODB2 port. Unfortunately none of the tuners that do the tunes have been able to crack the encryption on the 2011's.
