Can you fit stainless hoses?

Heres the question, my bike is sat in the showroom waiting for final payment, and something just popped into my head:

Can you fit Stainless Steel Braided Hoses to the ABS model? I assume that the brake lines would go via the ABS module before the brake calipers?

and is the ABS module mounted near the rear shock?

XJ6... I think the bleeding part with a ABS is a little more tricky. I remember racing some Bimmer a few years ago and the engineer had to hook up the PC to make the ABS system flicker while bleeding the brakes.

I know it's been a while since you asked Frinks, but my dad just put SS lines on his FJR which has ABS. So it can be done yourself. He said it was a major PITA though.

thanks, i was thinking it would be difficult as the front brake hose travels down a bit as a hose and then travels down a solid pipe to the ABS module, then back up through a solid pipe to a hose that goes to the front calipers. the rear goes to the module and then out again - not sure on the set-up for it. so in total 5 hoses of various lengths!! so yes abit of a PITA! lol

I cannot find any specific sets for the ABS model though.
