I agree about every (at least most) bikes should come with a center stand. It's very useful and it's always there. I don't have a problem getting the FZ1 on the center stand. My garage has a gravel floor (I'm hoping to build a new garage sometime, but not now) and I use a 2x4 under the center stand so the feet won't dig into the ground and loose the height to keep the rear tire off the ground. It makes it a bit more difficult to get it up there, but it's still not an issue. I haven't tried it on many bikes. Perhaps the FZ1 is just easier or maybe it just takes a little practice and technique.
