Any year FZ6 cams will work and I'm sure the throttle body assembly fit right in. No gasket needed. Airbox mod is fine... not going have any gain on trying to "ram air" the engine. Timing advance is good too.
If you use the DBkiller you'll be fine without a PCV. You won't get any extra whoomph LOL but it will be noisy.
As far as popping go on decel, block off plate would fix that. Fit you want to go the cheap way you can disconnect the hose on the RH side, top of airbox. Duct tape the nip on the...
That's the ultimate setup! Exhaust cam goes right in with the timing mark. My intake cam in advance about 4 degree. OEM intake lobe center is 105 and 102 degree was good back when I first did it. It was quite flat under 4K RPM so when I bought the 6R back and did the cams mod again I went one...
Hey Mate.
Ya, I saw your post on FB or somewhere else. Unfortunately I don't think I can help on this one. Maybe someone here is more techy and can hack the software. Maybe try to find a PCV used.
Does the PC FCs still have the 3 knobs to manually adjust it? Do you know witch map comes with...
Start with the touring map, that might work. The best one has been the Advgear RevB but you need to hook up the pink wire of the speed sensor to the PCV. (Check Dynojet manual) Go under tech support and download all the FZ6R maps and have fun LOL

Did you try to find a 2003-5 R6 engine with ECU?
FZ6 cams bolt right in. All you need to do is machine the FZ6R cam gears to fit the FZ6 cams. Just need to open the bore like 1mm if I remember well. Exhaust cams timing mark goes right in, Intake need to be advance (CW) to 102 degree. About 3...
I like those, I had one on my FZ09 and will get one for the 6R when time comes. You need the adaptor; it attaches using the fuel cap bolts (comes with longer bolts) Cool thing is that you can lock the bag. There's different size bags and you can add a phone/gps case too. Magnet does the job but...
Welcome in the hood!
6R is a solid bike. Jack of all trade and master of none. I bought mine back after selling it 7 years ago. Good, cheap and fast enough LOL.
