The dealer is going to advertise all bike at low prices to get you in the door or to make the phone ring. Then when you get to the negotiation stage you want to buy the bike then all the "fees will appear". such as.... freight $300-500 set up $300-500 handling $100-275 docs/processing...

Those bikes are selling for $4800 here in FL. OTD I don't know but you might want to negotiate some more then do it if that is what you want. I know they are clearing out as much inventory at year end so youmight get a good deal. Good Luck.

Well I got the FJR, Santa told me with the high gas prices I might have to sub in for Prancer so I wanted to be ready :rolleyes:. I do believe it will be a good year for motorcycle sales with gas prices going up again. Other than that the normal stuff clothes, etc.

Hey Jay sorry to hear about the job loss. My wife went through that last year but just after Christmas. Have you tried Craigslist? Consignment Moto? Know we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Something better will come along.

I believe everyone looks all the time. It is just in our nature. Matter of fact we change on average bikes every other year according to stats. Change homes every 5 years. Cars every 3 years. etc, etc. :)

Welcome..During breakin I did notice the higher RPM. After the 1st service @600 miles it seemed as if the tranny magically felt night and day different..well sort of you know what I mean. There will be a little surprise in the higher power bands once you open her up. She can run, not like a SS...

Hey PAPPA good to see you on here again. This is what finance companies do. They know you will get emotionally attached to the motorcycle, furniture, car, house and pay whatever for that item. All you think about in the short term is enjoyment, then the (newness wears off) reality sets in later...

For what it is worth...I spoke to a Yamaha dealer in Tampa. He showed me 50+ turn down applications just for the FZ6R (most were young persons b/t 18-30 yrs). He said Finance/Banks have really tightened the belt on lending. He said he could of been a top sales dealer with the FZ6R if they could...
