Looking for a PCV + maps

The power commander website has some good base maps, and now they have an app to tweak the PCV with your phone. I am going to try the phone thing today so I can report back.

    What Exhaust?

The stainless header from MJS is a professional piece of kit. Definitely the easiest way to go, and the same price as other options.

    WTB: fz6r aftermarket exhaust

You can give MJS a call, they make a stainless header that will fit most aftermarket shorty cans. FZ6R XJ6 2009-2014 Stainless Race Header The benefit over the Marthy solution is that you can unbolt the stock header, and bolt on the new header, no need for shipping or welding.

what is the best way to make it louder?

Yes it's more expensive than getting any old R6 header and bending it, but I did get the Marty DIY kit (mind you, the DIY kit is the same price as the MJS header) and it was terrible quality compared to the MJS. Also, like I said, it bolts right up so no modding required, unlike an R6 header or...

what is the best way to make it louder?

Get these headers they bolt right up, and accept any slip on that isn't too big around.

Trying to install an aftermarket exhaust

I have these after getting Marthy's kit, and they are vastly nicer, and easier to install. The price is a bit higher, but worth it for a full stainless system that bolts up, and gives you slip on choices like nothing else!

    Odd Request

You just showed me the piece I was looking for! All of the parts places didn't have the stay shown on the drawings, and I didn't know what it was called. This is awesome, now I can get my headlight on straight again!

    Affordable exhaust system in oz

With the high cost of shipping, I would look for a local fabricator to make a 4-2-1 header, either modifying the stock exhaust, or bending one up out of stainless steel. If you are using the stock exhaust, it is a simple 3 inch to 2 inch reducer with a bend of about 135 degrees out to clear the...

    World Cup

At least in hockey they will get one or two goals in a game. Baseball can also have really low scores, and as a result, is quite boring. I never watch it on TV.

    MJS exhaust system

Do you mean a Power Commander map for this? If you use the Danmoto Shorty Marthy uses in his kit, the standard maps would work. If you want him to make a map for that can though (the headers are pretty much the same for the Marthy kit) he'd have to just buy the can and test it. Now I'm bummed I...

    Project LiveWire

I test rode a Zero DS and FX the other week, and would go down to Milwaukee this weekend to try this out if I didn't have prior commitments! The strange thing about electrics is the (lack of) sound, but HD is using a 90 degree gear system to make some interesting audio stimulation. I do think...

Hi Viz Decals on a bike

When I am riding, and I see a car that looks like it might pull out into my lane (almost all of them), I weave a little bit. Our brains are trained to look for movement, and a single headlight moving back and forth is much more noticeable than a single headlight coming towards them. When...
