    My baby looking blue

Try squeezing the tank with your knees more and relax your arms, that should get rid of any arm pump or shoulder pain + it is a good work out for your ab's/ core too

    thinking about upgrading.

I dont know why people moan about R6's not being for the street, I ride my R6 regularly on street and, just SixRFixR stated, it is all about wrist responsibility. Posture wise it is fine, when I had my XJ6 I was always wanting to tuck in anyway, and since breaking 9 of my vertebrae (& other...

    Break light problem

Could be the connection at the either end too, try disconnecting the clips, blow into to clear any debris if there is a build up of crap in there or any corrosion get a cotton tip with methylated spirits to clean to connections (internal)

    Marulan Track Day 2011

Good stuff Fred, makes me want to get back on the track ASAP little suggestion to get your speed/ times up, and to get more drive out of the bike try to keep the rpm above 8k so change down a gear if your revs drop below 8k to keep the motor near the peak HP as when your not braking you...

    School me on Schools.... Thoughts?

Most (open) track days provide the option for some training in the beginner class. Find your local track and speak to the organisation that runs it. Sent from my LT18i using Tapatalk 2

    Which Jackt to puchase? Help!

Looks like a deal, try it on if that is what your looking for. Just make sure it is a good fit, on the snug side of things with leather is best, as you want it to flap in the wind or have the armour shift in the event of a fall. Sent from my LT18i using Tapatalk 2

K1200s oooh baby! Chips & gravy! I have only drooled on them but never got a ride, maybe whilst your friend gets acquainted with his GS you can ride the K1200S ~you know just to keep the battery ticking over and stop things getting stiff. I like the V-Strom idea, especially with duals on...

    adjusting tps

Reading your post now, could tps translate to 'Throttle Position Sensor'? If not, what does the acronym mean? Edit: I just searched (via pdf search) the owners manuals and service manuals (FZ6R & Xj6) to which they make no reference to 'TPS' so xtina, (or anyone else) what does tps mean?

    T-rex frame slider for XJ6N?

Of all the types I researched going back a while now, they seemed to be all cut (varying amounts depending on brand). The only sliders I could not get any confirmation on were the OEM Yamaha ones. I personally went with T-Rex and they worked well -tried & tested in every sense:o

HI Mitch, How is your arm healing up? And your bike, is she all cleaned up now too or still wearing her scars bravely? Would be good to go out for a ride again, are you up for a day long ride as yet? Cheers Peter Y

    Break in Brakes?

IMO brakes need a bit of warming for best use, I find my brakes (on any bike) are a bit grainy/ gritty for the first few stops on each ride I have always put it down to a small amount of surface rust after each & every ride Have you tried going for a longer ride with a few stop/ starts...
