Any St. Louis (or nearby) FZ6R riders around to help with some mad science?

If you strip out the plastics and body work that is underneath the tail (exhaust shrouds), it may look more like the gen2 FZ1 tail Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

2 Brothers Exhaust... What the difference ?

The only difference is in the finish of the baffle canister. The VALE system is a number of reducing inserts to restrict the amount of exhaust is emitted, and thusly noise too. 2Bros is the most common system sold for the FZ6R, IMO it's only due to the ease of finding them. Might pick up an FZ6R

Ideally test ride both bikes on the same day over the same roads to get a best comparison. Do a bit of all types riding within those tests too, give 'em a squirt and dawdle in traffic Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

    Which R6 years manifold/ headers/ downpipe will fit the Yamaha XJ6N/ FZ6R?

The easiest option, if you know your way around welding, is to cut the stock header just before the breadbox, weld a reducer and choose a shorty slip on of your choosing Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

Bought a FZ6R, some noob questions

At that age and so few miles, change ALL fluids. By assumption the brake pads should be fine maybe just some rust/ dust between pad or disc. But keep in mind the brakes should drag ever so slightly, which does give a scrapping sort of sound, in which case they're fine Sent from my C6903 using...

    Bluetooth Headset Shootout!!!

Yep the small mic ia excellent, my brother has the SM10 and the boom mic almost always hangs down, which catches the wind. That shits me no end, as when we're trying to talk whilst riding his com is all muffled due to the wond blasting into the mic Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk

    Bluetooth Headset Shootout!!!

I have the Sena SMH10R as well. I wear ear plugs when riding to knock out the wind noise and which also helps my music/ calls to be loud and clear. The added bonus of the Sena is to answer phone calls all you is talk or blow into the speaker (mounted to the internal of your helmet). I really...
