    Thinking about buying an FZ6R

Its what these engines are made for....if you change oil every 3k miles and just take care of the bike...the engine will last years and years. I have a 1971 honda 350. The rpm range is the same proportionately to what the 6r is. I am rebuilding the engine now for the first time in almost 40...

    Thinking about buying an FZ6R

6000 rpms.... 5th gear matches the rpm gauge almost perfectly...60mph = 6k, 70mph = 7k 6th gear is slightly lower...70mph is going to be right around 6k rpms, maybe just slightly higher

    Yamaha YZF-R125

hmm I bet that is what is keeping it out of the US. Here its 50cc's and smaller with no license vs 150cc across the pond...I think that bike is geared towards lighter riders and younger kids that want to take it on the track. Most people over 18 don't fit the bill of even being able to fit on...

    Considering Upgrading..

I downgraded on power w/ this bike. I have had an r6, 636 and an f4i as far as sportbikes go over the years. Get what you want. If your goal is to squid it up on the highways pushing 162mph on the 4 lane highways, or trackdays, go for it....Until you ride 50+ bikes, you will have no idea your...
