I own an FZ6R and a GSX-R600. I rode the gixxer to work for a couple of days and decided it's gonna live on the track. Just not worth the back ache from stop light to stop light. R6 is the most aggressive position of supersports. CBR and GSXR are more comfy. If you really want a liter bike...

It's great fun from 6k to the red line. It's more fun with a mostly empty gas tank. I find it's just too top heavy when it's filled up.

price reduction from $5500 to $5250. dropped in the grass at the track. Only damage is a dent in the tank where the handlebar hit. Someone buy this so I can get a track bike.

Just type in Yamaha OEM parts in Google. You'll get links like BikeBandit, etc... Check each one out, the bolts are only going to be a few cents/dollars. You may have to buy a 'set' of 3 of 4. Shipping is where they get you. I'd say go with the cheapest shipper.

good looking bike, mate. Really like the seat cowl and wheel stripes. I think the fz6r looks fantastic with solid color fairings. Very similar to a Honda VFR or Interceptor.

I continue to use Stadium Yamaha. Prices are low but shipping is high.
