'11 Reddish Copper Graphics Right Side panel

Hmmm... I had the dealer order one of those up to replace the one on the bike because they damaged it sometime between purchase and delivery. Minor damage to graphics though so was in no rush to get in and do it but then they went out of business. I wonder who acquired their inventory... But...

    My wife's '09 fz6r

That's a beautiful looking hot chick bike! Almost went that route in 2011 when buying a bike for the GF, but the dealer that still had the '09 wanted more than I could get the '11 for. Hope she enjoys it!

    We are the last

While the FZ6R isn't going away (yet) Yamaha is making great additions to the line-up with the FZ-09 and FZ-07. I first saw and sat on an FZ-09 in June 2003 and loved the look and feel of the bike. (Unfortunately it was a pre-production bike and we could not take it out for a ride for insurance...

    Helmet Bracket

LoL - I guess that woulda been an easier way to figure out what that thing was then trying to find it on the parts fiche! I don't have anything on the helmet to loop the cable through anyway, so as of a couple days ago, that bracket is in the spare parts box. I'm planing on fastening my...

    Helmet Bracket

I'm curious how many people use the Helmet Bracket under the back seat. I was scratching my head and had to go look at the parts fiches to even determine what it was.

Instructions on how to Derestrict your FZ6R (10 Steps )

More appropriate to say that Canadian bikes are not restricted than already derestricted. Follow and read the links provided to learn about LAMS in Aussieland. I did and learnt a lot... I learnt that it sucks to be a new rider in Aussieland! :-D That said, I like the concept and would love to...

warm cold lubing chain *warning, graphic image*

I clean and lube the chains on my bikes, at least the ones that have chains anyway, with the bike on a stand and in gear. I know and understand the risk, but I'm lazy. :) I generally believe that it's not a safe practice, but it's a calculated risk. I take no offence to a warning and...

Thanks bloodypulp, but I found what I needed and JT provided the piece of the diagram that I needed!

Your favorite location to tap switched power

Well ain't that pretty! A couple bolts and 3 plastic rivets and all is shown under the Right Rear panel. And the licence plate light is connected with bullet connectors! Mega easy plug-n-play, no wire tap, signal voltage source! I'll post photos up soon! So... IMHO, the best location to tap...

Your favorite location to tap switched power

Never too late! ;) I'm tearing apart the tail of the bike now so I can see whats going on back there. Shoulda done that while installing the Givi Side Bag Rack, but that was done in a rush at the side of the road where I picked up the bags.

Well I started to turn it into a Sport Tour....

While towing definitely would effect the range on the FJR, I can get over 300 miles now. I have yet to get much more than 150 out of the FZ6R.
