    My speedometer rattles! Help!

Like I said, it's not the speedo. You can put a finger on it while riding at it's still there. The trim right below it is where you can put pressure on to fix it. More than likely it's the joining point between that piece and the two (left and right) upper black panels on the inside of the...

    Clutch question

When in storage times, I always start and warm up the bike once every couple weeks. Keeps everything flowing. If you have a rear stand it also wouldn't be a bad idea to engage a gear or two for a short period of time as well.

    My speedometer rattles! Help!

Mine does the same at 4200 RPM's. It's within the trim pieces under and around it, not the speedo itself. I have yet to fix mine. Although, I have a few ideas the next time I get the chance.

    Stability

I ride 80% of my 50 minute commute going faster than 70. Just be mindful of wind and big *** trucks. I'd read up on how to control the bike when wind hits ya. I'm 6'1" and above 80 I tuck in a little to help with the wind at my body but I've also done 120+ and never had a stability issue.

    Marthy PCV Maps

Good morning/afternoon/evening wherever you are..... Just installed a PCV yesterday and downloaded the recommended (By Marthy) touring b MAP. Everything took fine with no issues and she starts and runs. It's pissing rain here in the PNW and I'm pretty reluctant to take her out on new tires AND...

    Need Opinions Please

Kathy, glad to see you're getting back in the saddle. I'm on the facebook page as well and have seen your accident. I love your idea!!! I personally wouldn't do something like that but the one thing I love about bikes is others personalities seem to go right on it. Make it your own and show the...

    Fuel Tank

yellowfz....... Man you gotta work out some frustrations dude. This whole "big guy on the internet" thing is very uncalled for. Just because someone doesn't take your advice or disagrees with you on a subject doesn't justify you being a d bag. Up your gratitude. To the rest of you I really do...

    Fuel Tank

So I got home last night, and in 2 minutes the tank was on the ground. Feel kinda stupid for even asking the question. :-p It's nice to have it outa the way but to each their own. Thanks again for all the responses!!!

    Fuel Tank

I think in my case since the tank is damn near full, I'll remove it. I'd feel a little more comfortable soldering wires that way anyways. :-)

    Fuel Tank

Ya know I have to agree with you on that. It sure does make for an easy access. Only side effect was some fuel out of the vent lines but not anything substantial. But it's also nice to know that there are block off valves to stop the fuel from coming out of the tank.

    Fuel Tank

No it doesn't. Not to mention you can get a custom MAP. I like the idea of a 20% HP gain and 3-4 MPG's. Motor is happy happy happy!!!! These bikes run quite lean. BUT, for an entry level bike, that's what you are going to get. :-)

    Fuel Tank

2 Wheel Dynoworks is based out of Woodinville and that's within 10 miles of where I am. Their rate I believe is 150. They do a lot of motorcycle shows and Nels is one of the best in the business. He recently went and tuned Marcel Irnie's BMW S1000R for racing and from what the facebook page is...

    Fuel Tank

Well like I said, I'm not oppose to anything that will help with the performance. I do love the idea of options though. Tapping into a wire that is literally right there is a non issue. The best thing that I can think of is all the different options it presents. You can always unload and upload...

    Fuel Tank

I'm not oppose to running anything that may make my bike perform better/more efficient. If it will ever give me a better outcome than the other, then I'll hook it up. I just went off of his recommendation based off of the mods I have, or don't have in this case. I'll probably just hook it up...
