my opinion, you upgraded from the 6r. If you went out and bought another fz6r, you would be wanting to upgrade right away again. Use the wreck as a chance to look at all the options, just not what was once comfortable to you.

probably out of your price range, but.............
I was at the triumph dealer this week, and they had a speed triple r.
it had the same paint scheme, red/white/black as the 675r, plus it had the ohlins on it.

I love it. I'm in the process of swapping the brakes and suspension for a Daytona's since that's the only thing this bike is marginal on. I have the rear shock with a new lighter Racetech spring on, and have everything to do the front end.

But boy does that engine put a smile on my face.
