New to the Yamaha world, but figured you guys seem to know whats up. I have my new bike and would still like to know if you're going to order this pipe? where can I find out more about it too?? Also flush mount lights and a fender eliminator kit, anyone know anything about these for the FZ6R? thanks!
Go through the forums especially the mods forum, and try the search up top.

That would be awesome!!

BTW, Nate is chomping at the bit to get this order in. He said TBR is 12 days away from releasing the first production batch.
Robert and others:

I CAN NOT FRIGGING WAIT, hurry up end of month, this is gonna be one tough mod! The dude who got me into bikes has a Gixxer 750 and even he was impressed. (not just with the looks, but also the cost, he sez just a slip on can run almost as much $ as this complete system)

Sorry, I just had to get it off my chest LOL ;)

Here is the link to the TBR website with info and dyno charts for the exhaust. We are going to place the order in the next week or two. The final price for us is $825, nearly $300 off MSRP! Let me know if you are intersted and what finish you want.

I just called my dealer regarding warranty. They stated that if the exhaust was the cause of a burned out piston then it would not be covered. I know I can get a power commander to help eliminate this, but that is another $300 right now. I think for time being I am going to back out :(

I'm going to do some other mods that I wanted to do, and will get more miles on the bike. I only have the 1 year warranty so will look at getting exhaust probably next year. By that time I should have more choices and you guys will have your vids posted for me to decide :D

Sorry to back out, but looks like should have enough people still to get discount.

what r u talking about a burned out piston?? do u have one right now or u just worried that this exhaust will burn out ur pistons.

That is the example the dealer mentioned. My buddy mentioned to me that putting in an aftermarket exhaust could make the bike run lean. I would want to buy a power commander to help prevent that, and that is another $300 I don't have right now. Don't want to buy exhaust and have it sit there. The chances are probably good that I wouldn't have an issue, but don't want to take a chance. I 'm going to put some more miles on my bike, still in break in period. Haven't had a chance to get a lot of miles due to weather. I know someone mentioned putting back on OEM exhaust if something happens, but what a pain. It's all good, just gonna wait.

Normally just an exhaust will not make an engine run lean, different intake on the other hand or even hi flow air filter can make engine run lean.

ahh ok i see what u r saying now but to tell u the truth there hasnt been anything i have changed the exhaust on and i have never had any problems with pistons or anything with that sort. changing the exhaust on something is the best thing u can do for a an engine due to higher flow of getting rid of burned fuel. air intake, bad plugs, wrong plugs or chipping it will burn pistons letting burned fuel out better will not hurt ur pistons but help them live longer. dumping more fuel or air in an engine will burn pistons and jugs. look at it this way a engine is a air sealed bomb every bomb has its limits before exploding wrong either before or to late when u want it to, to much of something will change all effects a engine is the same thing its a bomb.but if everything stays the same and u add a better flow the better the blast and the more it does, the only real problem i see with this exhaust and even the m4 exhaust is i am wondering what they r doing with the 3 way catalytic converter system that the OEM exhaust has and was wondering if it will still pass emission laws and not turn on the check engine light.

Thanks for the heads up, makes me feel more comfortable about replacing stock exhaust. This is my first bike and wouldn't be a bad thing putting more miles before I go this route. I have been up and down on this, and just decided smart thing for me is to wait. Even though I really would love to do this mod now.

I'm wondering if anyone else that was planning on buying this exhaust is going to add power commander or just repalce exhaust? Would like to hear from you guys and how it's going after replacing.

hey guys i just got off the phone with two brothers, talked to them about this exhaust for the bike they say that if u have to be hooked to a smog machine to pass inspection it will not pass i know in ny any thing above 96 has too so for those that r interested in it KEEP YOUR STOCK EXHAUST. and for the running lean yes the bike will run lean but it will not in any way harm your engine he said they have tested for years on bikes with out power commanders and juice box's and they have never harmed the engine. he says that there is no juice box or power commander yet for this bike but they r in the process's of making one just cause the bike is so new and that will tune the bike in better for more power.

I don't mean this as an insult to you or Two Brothers, but check before you post information. There IS currently a Power Commander for the FZ6R.
