Whats up guys.
I recently repoed my yzf600r after the idiot i sold it too wrecked it. He stopped paying so i got stuck with my first bike again. On the other hand i figured there must be something this bike would have to offer to my fz6r, being that they are both yamaha's. I took a look around the web and hell if i wasnt suprised that the fork diameters are the same on both bikes
omgomg adjustable suspension for freeeeeee!!!
So a few days ago i hung both bikes from the ceiling tore down the front ends.
Everything came off easy, and the new forks slid in just as well. I used the brembo 4 piston calipers from the 600r as well. Now i have BADASS front brakes and adjustable suspension in the FRONT..... But now i want rear...
So tomorrow im gonna rip off the rear ohlins shock and see if i can adapt it to the fz. Has anybody ever heard of or done this swap before? If not i took a bunch of pics and im willin to upload.
