Ok since no one else cares to respond heres what i got for ya, i replaced all the pads all the way around, a caliper and a rotor due to a stupid friend. I went with what ever was cheapest on bike bandit but made sure they all got changed at the same time! That is all thst should matter, EBC is good but OEM is good enough, honestly without any significant upgrades to the brake system or braided steel brake lines you wont notice a huge differance between pads, regardless oem is more than you will ever need on this bike.It looks like it's time to change my front brake pads. Can someone recommend a good set of pads to get, OEM, aftermarket? Thanks
To be fair, i bought cheap from a reputible retailer but i agree with going OEMThe following post is my opinion based on my own experience...
I made the mistake of purchasing some cheap pads off of ebay, they were supposed to be some organic compound. I don't know what they were made of, but they destroyed my front discs/rotors.
I found some used discs/rotors that were still in pretty good shape and will change them out before spring. I'll probably go with OEM pads, when I change the discs/rotors.
So my advice, don't buy the cheapest pad you can find.
Just my two cents...
