According to the 2013 SS shootout both of your choices seem to be better options than R6 for the street riding. Since my name is not Lorenzo I don't have a brand loyalty.My next bike will be Sport bike, certainly... Either a Suzuki GSXR750 or Kawasaki ZX6R... YZF-R6 is not oficially sold in Brazil...

If kids don't stop me from buying another bike some day, I would like to have either an FZ8 or Street Triple. Leaning towards the triple only cause of weight and the great sound it makes.
Speed and FZ1 are out of the question because of even higher insurance and lower gas mileage. If it doesn't get better mileage than my Corolla, it's not worth it to me to commute on. But what makes the decision hard is many used speed triples are going used between 3 and 4 thousand in my area, and 2 or 3 year newer street triples are going for double. How does that happen?!?!

If I ever get enough money I'd probably buy something like the BMW F800GT. The more I ride the Fz6r, the more I hate the chain. Unfortunately the BMW gets really expensive if you want all the options, and of course you'll want all the options...

Mine was a sarcastic question after you listed R6 and not being sure if you want to stay with the sport bike all in one sentence
.... He listed two different options, one being a sport bike and one being a cruiser and then said.. Not sure if I want to stick with the sport bike or a cruiser.... Not seeing the issue.
Moving on, the next bike I buy will be a 1liter sport bike or a trumpet cruiser... No longer any trumpet dealerships around here for me to play with. All the better though, I need to tighten the belt and pay some stuff off like wedding, etc. My Dad has a 71' Triumph Bonneville that needs restoring. I may have to encourage him to start working on it. If I had a house and a garage I'd roll it into mine and do a full restore.

well for me I have already got my dream bike traded in my 6r 2 months ago for the fz1 love it so far also promised wife this would be my last new bike(lol) also I have this Yamaha loyalty have had nothing but good luck with them. puzzled pole show 41% will pick Yamaha but post doesn't show that what up?

They just got one of those in the Yammy dealership near me. Interesting looking bike - very big, looks pretty capable. For that money though, I would head to the nearest BMW dealership though.
