I went to Performance cycle yesterday on my never ending quest for a helment and as I walk out There's a 2012 White FZ6R parked in front. As I'm looking at it the guy walks up and we talked a little about the bike. Mines still in Arizona so it was cool that I got to sit on it and see one off the showroom floor. only 45 miles on it. I gave a shout out to the forum!

BTW I decided on the Shoei RF1100, Going to go buy it in the next week.

Kudos for the shout out! I've been thinking about the RF1100. Give us a post about the windnoise around the bottom, once you've ridden with it. Cheers.

the RF-1100 is a great helmet. I have one and the chin curtain really helps to reduce the wind noise. Then again, this is my first helmet

That's good to hear! Just got good news. My bike will be coming up from Arizona in the next week instead of around early May!

I have the RF1100, get the pinlock shield! Seriously... And of course with any helmet you get lots of wind noise when you open the vents. This helmet has great circulation. I love it. An the locking mechanism to lock the shield down and into the gasket is adjustable if you find it a bit "off." have fun! Enjoy!
