The rear brake lever feels too low for my riding posision and I want to raise it. I see the linkage with what looks like adjustment mechanism but it seems hard to get at and I'm not sure which lock-nuts to loosen and which parts to turn?
first thing I did was LOWER mine... I didn't want to take a chance of locking it up (and I still did a few times)... please ride with it that way for a couple ridea before you decide to raise it... it is a touchy little beast
hard to explain without a manual.. but, where the pedal connects to the master cylinder.. you'll see an upsidedown U... it'll have a nut (two, the adjusting nut and a lock nut) attached to a long threaded bolt... loosen the locknut first, then adjust the position, then retighten the locknut... I can't remember which way is up... but it should be obvious as you turn it...
don't forget, when you are done (take it for a test ride in a secluded area)... don't forget to adjust the brake light switch as well!
Raised it just a slight bit today and it 'feels' much better. I now get brake friction when my brain expects it. Fun ride today . . Kelowna 21 degrees and not a cloud in sight!
