Rear Axle Bolts.

So ,
I wanted to tighten up my chain, it has a little sag in it. just enough to extend the wheel to that next line i think. When I went to get a ratchet head for it i noticed the oddest thing.
first the chain side bolt was bigger than the right side bolt./nut whatever. so much so that i didnt have the dam right tool for the job. rather than strip something being stubborn, i went to my room like a good boy:(.
now i am at work and am rather upset because multiple people i have spoken with say they dont have this problem.

whats wrong with my bike!!!

I think that is normal. It may be so you can use a different size on each side, from the same set. Otherwise, you'd have to have 2 of the same size wrench.

It's normal, they're not the same size. Don't remember the size offhand, but yeah they're not the same. You're not crazy. LOL!

Still apart, haven't had time to work on her with work, son's baseball and college. Thursday gonna clean her up to prep for jb weld and Friday gonna jb weld and give it a day or so to set and reassemble and hope for the best. LOL! May even get her jb welded Thursday.

Did you measure the chain slack? It is supposed to have quiet a bit, check the OM for sure, but it's something like 2".

1.77"-2.17" per service manual.
