woops, lucky the wheel kept the caliper from coming all the way off or you might loose all breaking. that would be kind of bad.
 
I did brakes on the front of my Dad's Accord maybe 10 years ago or so when I was first starting to do brakes. Somehow while one caliper was hanging from the coil spring, I got it twisted around before reinstalling. Basically kinked the brake line so little to no fluid would push down to the caliper. When I test drove it and slammed the brakes, only one side engaged.........

I have not made that mistake since!

We get cars here all the time with people that do brakes themselves and flip the caliper around and don't know why the car doesn't stop.
 
How can you possibly flip it around the hose isn't even long enough usually lol.

You have no idea what wannabe mechanics can do.

Just a couple of weeks ago we had a guy that wanted to change a interior light bulb that was out and managed to shorted out the smart junction box and disable the whole car.
