I am curious about the fz6r nickname. If you look at the older honda cbr bikes like pre year 2000 were called hurricanes and all the ones after are called fireblades because they remodeled the bike. Since the fz6r fz8 and fz1 replaced the old ugly fzr models which were dubbed fazers. does that title carry over to the newer fzr or was a nickname left out.

I've seen it called a "Fizzer" several times. The Honda Hurricane was an actual name of a bike. Back in the day it competed with the Kawasaki Ninja for the fastest sport bike title. Every year, they'd go back and forth, one was faster, then the other.I am curious about the fz6r nickname. If there's a nickname for the FZ6R, it's gotta be Fizzer. Perhaps it's a knockdown of Fazer. Kind of sucks, though. I hate the sound of it. I generally just call it a "six-are."
