Kids love to push buttons

Just got a 2009 FZ6R so pf course my 2 little kids are super stoked. I let them sit on it and of course they push all the buttons.

The previous owner installed heated grips directly powered off the battery. This morning, battery is completely drained, it's been on the battery tender for like 7 hours! HAHAHAHAHA

Time to buy a relay or a piggyback fuse! :banghead:

Yeah, wire it up to a relay. My oxford grips have a "low voltage shutoff", but it's so low it would still kill the battery, so I wired it into switched power relay as well.

nice! I saw a little instal video where a guy used a piggyback fuse into the starter fuse. Seemed really simple.

I wouldn't just fuse off another line, those grips can draw a few amps and you don't want to burn out existing wiring.
