I have to be here Sunday, first car show of the season, and I get to be a vendor this year!!

bike...or car show.... hmmm Normally bike wins hands down.

But better would be riding the bike to the car show!

Thats kind of what I was implying... I won't know until tuesday-wednesday on wether or not I will make it (I will not ride long distances like my proposed route in below 70 degrees or rain. There is no fun in that!

My other problem is 9 am is a little early...I would have to leave around 7 is to make it there by 9....but depending on weather I will see what I can do...

Start at the waffle house...4931 Knights Way, Indianapolis, IN - 9am

37 to bloomington
446 to heltonville
58 to freetown
135 through nashville to morgantown
252 to martinsville
37 back to wafflehouse...

I dunno, I think we should make Bleedin do a more elaborate signal for low fuel.... like pulling up his shirt and slapping his belly or the truffle shuffle.... Hmmm

and yes, I shall be there. Going to try and make the trip Friday night still, so my *** isn't about to fall off after riding there, eating then riding 3-4 more hours with you guys. LOL

and yes, I shall be there. Going to try and make the trip Friday night still, so my *** isn't about to fall off after riding there, eating then riding 3-4 more hours with you guys. LOL

To elaborate on the route... I am planning a break in boomington at a gas station so we can bathroom break it..fuel as needed
(thats about an hour into the ride)...

Another stop in Nashville at a gas station to refuel as necessary and bathroom break it again... This would be an hour and a half after the first stop...


Those look to be the two main stopping points... there will be one more at the end of the ride... back at waffle house to say good byes....

I am open to stopping for lunch too in and around Nashville, the only problem is I do not know the area well enough to suggest restaurants. Being diabetic I will need to eat but can survive on snacks until the end of the ride. Keep in mind Nashville is a biker haven so parking will be tough ( I see subway, nobble romans pizza, muddy boots cafe seems to be a big name place, .

We could always stop at subway in Bloomington, we can haul subs and bottled water.

Then we could ride through Brown County State Park to find a shaded picnic area or something.Just a thought,It sounds like time isn't a issue, i'd rather eat looking at everyones bikes than go into a Waffle House.

Be careful what you wish for dude...I mooned a entire passenger train in a company vehicle once.It was 100% worth them calling my boss.It caught him off guard and he laughed about it for a week lol.

Both BB and I have front tires that are pretty worn so we wont be pushing too hard saturday.

I still plan to do this, but we may be taking a longer break at some point to let storms pass.

Bike is in the shop getting a good workover before Saturday. Picking it up tonight, I will be coming down whether or not this gets cancelled. My brother and I are riding down together so he can have his bike down at his house. Keep me posted Lee, you've got my number.
