With a lot of tools, a lot of time, and a lot of patience.

I believe there was a tutorial on here that's pinned. I've done it twice and it's taken the better part of a day. I can also say hose-clamp pliers made it far easier the second time.

I'd wait until you've gotten the rubber baffle back in before the beers. After that, you don't need near so much finesse.

Don't forget to put some anti-seize on the new spark plugs. There's not much room in there to work with and it'll help when you change them next time around.

not if you are installing the recommended plugs... specifically NGK states do not use anti seize.

With NGK's I've never had a problem removing them. The anti-corrosion plating they use has the side benefit of being an excellent anti-seize. To quote NGK, "Anti-seize compound can act as a lubricant altering torque values up to 20 percent, increasing the risk of spark plug thread breakage."

I got it. The anti seize compound is the culprit, not the plug. Whoa, that's seriously counter-intuitive. One would expect that an "anti seize" compound would do just what it says it does.

Having hit the link in your post, that's exactly what the compound does. The problem is, that the threads are so slippery, the plug is over tightened.

That one got me until I researched it.
