Hesitating/stalling for a couple minutes after starting

I have a 2009 fz6r wih about 3200 miles that I bought about 2 months ago and it's started hesitating for a minute or two after starting up. If I rev it too soon after starting it stalls. Gas mileage has gone down too.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mine started doing the same after I took the bike in for the 4000 mile service. I was told that they synced the throttles, and figured that is what caused the stuttering. I just go easy on the gas at first, and let it warm up while I'm putting on my helmet and gloves. After it's warm the hesitation goes away.

Thanks...that's what I was reading about last night...I may try and sync them up myself when i get some time...otherwise just doing like you do...letting it warm up while getting ready.

Do you guys have the power commander 5? I had a bad pc5 and it would do the same exact thing. I would rev it and when I cut the throttle, it would stall. Try the firmware update if u have one first.
