Glamis Last Weekend

Took my family to Glamis last weekend for Veterans Day... we are going back for Thanksgiving. Here are a few pics... my daughter is 7 and starting to get more confidence... My wife and I are ready for some big dune runs... been staying close to camp for the last few trips so the little one can learn... wont be much longer before we are able to go on some good dune runs... I think she is about ready.

You have Florence up on the Oregon Coast... Pretty cool too if you have not been there yet. Sand Dunes and Pine trees... something we dont see much of down here.

awesome! do you ever see any crazy motorcycle guys there jumping from dune to dune? I recall the early moto vids of Jeremy McGrath etc doing unreal jumps there

Nice! I'm hoping to go out with some friends this year. Ridden dirt bikes on the track but not in the desert yet.

We spent a week in Florence last summer and just reserved two camp sites and two yurts for next summer!

Never been to Glamis, but I have spent some time at Sand Mountain, Nevada and I can agree that there are few things in this world more fun than the combination of internal combustion and paddle tires.

Going back for Thanksgiving!

We decided we are going back this weekend! Getting packed up to leave again... Glad to hear there are others on the boards who enjoy "Sand and Combustion Engines"! Cant beat the sweat smell of two strokes - race fuel and pre-mix! Lots of dirt bikes out there pulling the McGraths from dune to dune... I will get more pics and post when we return!
