Pictures and where did you get it??

These are not the best pictures, but hopefully you get the idea. I know many people get them from beadrider.com, but I got it on Ebay for half the price. I can PM you the Ebay vendor if you want. Worth every penny. I can take another pic in a few days when I load up the bike for my next trip if you want a better view/close up.

Is the bead seat, uh...(how do I say) safe? Like on fast starts do you slide back or are you pretty well planted on the seat?

I only use it on multi-day trips so that is rarely any "spirited" riding. I don't notice any sliding on those trips but I'm riding rather carefully. I've never used it on a day when the bike is naked and I'm hitting a nice twisty road.
