Farings Gap

Since I have never seen another FZ6R other than the one I currently own and ride I am starting to wonder what kind of gap you guys see between the plastic fairings and the gas tank under the hand grips, because mine is about a quarter of an inch. Just wondering if that is a normal distance or if there is something odd going on.

That's about right, mine is about the same, I think it is that way so as not to get your gas tank all scratched up!
