Difference Between 09 and 11 Model Any?

I'm looking at getting my first bike (been riding my dads old honda CB900C) and there is a used 09 with 400miles on it for 5k in my area.i can get a new 11 for about 7400. Is there any big difference between the 09 and 11 models?

The only difference are the colors. Other then that, they are all the same as far as I know.

Thanks for the replies. What year did they do major changes in? Is the diamond steel frame a 11 addition? The yamaha website makes it sound like it

The bike was brand new model in 2009, from what i can remember there have been no changes at all other than the colors each year. The frame is the same one in the specs on their site between 2010 and 2011, so it was most likely the same frame as the 2009 which I'm almost 100% sure on.

I agree. I work in a Yamaha Dealership and the only diffrence between the bikes is the colour schemes. Your best picking up a low mileage 09 bike and save yourself a bucket load of cash.
