Both stock exhaust mods done

I apologize in advance for any formatting issues this is all from my phone, and the very short video was actually just an afterthought for me to send my friends, so it's just a few pumps and tapping the limiter. If someone would like one a little more tame just ask and depending on how tedious YouTube is ( never done it before) I'll post another to get a better gauge of putting around town.

Secondly, as most have said the video does not do the sound justice, it's very deep and throaty. I'm not sure if it will sound similar with just the tip mod since you are still getting a little restricted air flow, again the video doesn't quite sound right so it's kind of difficult to compare.

Also I didn't take the most pictures, I didn't think id post this. I only took a few when I cut the bottom open but look for the old post for an actual guide. I did mine a little differently.

Random piece of pipe my brother had, he cut and polished it.

So we used a plasma cutter instead of a angle grinder.

Since you can clearly see the pipe from the tip we cut it off with a dremel

He used a migwelder I think it's called, if that matters.
Also didn't smoother it out, would have taken a ton of time.

High temp paint!

Sits pretty flush with the swing arm.

So the original post about cutting the bottom out was pretty detailed so I won't go too much into it, I don't have the pictures to anyway.
He cut a huge portion off, we cut between the welds since you don't need to mess with anything in the section with the cat.
Random Google pic

Use a sawzaw to cut the 3 pipes out inside, might be best to make a wider cut. We used like 4 blades because of awkward angles.

He used a grinder to cut into it so the gap was too large to weld so he had to build the sides up, grind it then weld again.

I would personally not suggest cutting out the inner tubing without the tip mod.
It sounded great at first because the stock sound is so garbage but it had a really crappy can rattle noise to it, almost like a fart can civic. Not as bad though, nothing was loose so I don't know what was up.
I'll post the vid in a few minutes once I figure out how to upload it.

Hey videos are super easy! Weak quality though.

Just want to report back that I had done the tip mod only (without the inside mod) and it sounds fantastic for the money spent!

Definitely a significant difference before & after. :D

I did not regret leaving the inside part intact though because just by modding the tip it is already very noisy for my liking.

Thanks OP!
