AGV Sport Solare Pants

Hey guys, following your advice I thought it proper to buy some protective pants. Went ahead and bought the AGV Sport Solare Vented pants, and have used them about 5 times maybe. And the material around the crotch is already splitting, not the seam, but literally the material thats supposed to protect my body in a crash...

So looks like im looking for a new pair of pants. Any rreccomendations on a pair of vented textile pants that will last me a while? Preferably around the 120$ range.

Also for anyones question I personally cannot reccomend these due to the fact that they are uncomfortable unless you tuck your shirt in(material rubs), and possibly the material may not be strong enough for long term use.

Also on reccomendations I do not need waterproof, if anything the opposite, gotta have good ventilation in 110+ days.

I have Scorpion Deuce pants and love them. They're technically overpants, but I wear them with and without pants underneath. There cool without the liner and warm with it in.

Those scorpion pants look pretty nice...

I have some over pants by bilt that seem pretty protective, but they remind me of snow pants from when we were kids.

Any inexpensive pants made from ballistic nylon or similar material are going to chafe a bit if you don't put something soft underneath the waist line. Get into the higher price range and you will find some of them with a soft liner along the waist, but in my experience, you are mostly forced to tuck something in under them. These fabrics are durable and tough, but that translates into a bit of friction along the sections that directly contact your skin.

I have the same pants you do Dart, and I don't think they're what he's looking for. These are good all season pants, but don't flow enough air in really hot weather, even without the liner, IMO.

I've got these:

BILT Street Gear - Blaze Mesh Motorcycle Pants - Cycle Gear

They've got some hip padding, though it's minimal. The armor in the knee slides around, I keep thinking a few quick stitches would fix that, but I haven't done it because I'm not really sure if it's an issue.

The ventilation is superb. I chose them over some Dianese, because they fit me so well. I would recommend getting a size smaller than what you think you need, though. The waist stretched after a few thousand miles, and I find myself occasionally having to pull them up, when I'm walking around.. :)
