Ha well it's actually really easy to cut. Took me 15 min or less to remove from bike, cut, and smooth edges. I got my friend to do the painting. He works in an auto body shop. But I'm sure there are other easy ways to paint it yourself
I cut it with this. Cutting it with something that has teeth like a saw might splinter ur sheild. Or maybe it won't, but I used this ha. Worked great. Then I smoothed edges with sand paper
I cut it with an air grinder with a thin cutting wheel. The cutting wheel wasn't a cutter with teeth like a saw blade. It was what some people call a fiber wheel I think? Ill post a pic of the tool I used give me a sec
Want a sportier looking windscreen for free? Just cut 3 to 4 inches off ur stock one. Figure out bout how much you want to cut off and paint it black and BAM. Whole new look for free. Beats buying a new one for like what 60-80$? Just wanted to share that incase y'all were thinkin bout swithing...
DON'T DO IT!! DON'T DO IT!!!!! I reapeat DONT!!! I did and it messes up back pressure. My acceleration went down. Can't even pop it up in first like I used to!!!! To top it off, it isn't even louder!!!!!! Just lower pitched. I just finished doin it, took it for a test drive and decided now I...

Sounds like everything my friend did to his 4 wheeler ha. I KNOW. It makes a HELL of a diff when u do all that. Ima take care of the simpler stuff instead of going that far. Doesn't pay off when I could get an r6 with all that money put in. Maybe I'll just get a supersport for short rides for...
Well Jon, crawfish is just like a shrimp only better. Way better. Oh, and shrimp is bait too ;) actually it's the most common bait we use down here ha.
Nah I'm not going that extreme. Too much to mess with and with the money it'd take i'd prob spend more than it's worth. I got all my plans: TBR exhaust, power commander, air filter, dyno tune, -1/+2 sprocket, and speedohealer. Should make a pretty significant increase in performance. Any other...
I was hoping I could figure that out on here lol. There's a line of sprocket kits and chains for fz6r by driven. None of them say how many teeth the kits have. The kits are just called mild, stage1, stage2 if I remember correctly. I'm thinkin the stage 2 is ganna be -1 front tooth +2 rear teeth.
I used an air grinder with a thin cuttin wheel. Put duct tape on both sides of the screen where ur cutting and cut through the tape. It should prevent splintering. Then I smoothed out edges with sandpaper and scotch brite. No one can even tell it's been cut if u do it right.
